It was a nice, rain free, but hot night.
Eight or nine people showed up, we knew about John’s “Garden of Eden”. He treated us to fresh pineapple and mango he had grown. When it’s fresh it’s like eating candy, so sweet. John had prepared a little demo on sharpening forstner bits using a Drimal tool with a small grinding wheel. He had a couple tools set up so we could try.
We then moved inside where Fay had prepared desert haven, home made – mulberry pie, peach cake, chocolate chip cookies, and another cake I was just too full to even try.
It’s always fun to sit and talk with other members, something it’s hard too do at regular meetings.
