Marti Cole’s shop in North Port is a well organized two car garage shop. Marti told us about his shop and them took us inside to see all the furniture he made. He even made all his kitchen cabinet doors using pocket screws. Then we all went inside again to enjoy a some wonderful shanty Irish chile and home made cookies. Why did I eat before the shop meet??
Neil McCullough has a three car garage shop in Parrish. He basically has to move the cars outside to have room to spread his tools out and use them. He has some beautiful shop furniture. Just look at his router table. He demonstrated two of his home made machines and jigs. A jig to make bowels on the table saw and a panto router he uses to make mortise and tenon joints. Check on the video of him making a mortise in less than a minute.(pick on img6179 to play video. Gail put on a great spread inside with barbecue pork, mac and cheese, and super deserts. This time I really did eat a huge dinner before showing up, so I had to limit myself to one brownie. I think Joe Mannke has met his match.
