The meet and greet started at 6:30, and people kept joining till 7:00 pm when the regular meeting got underway.
The meeting was called to order at 7:05 by president Tom Falcone following a half hour informal meeting period. There were 29 members and one guest in attendance.
Tom introduced David James from Advantage Lumber who told the members of some of the new product lines being carried along with a reminder that club members receive a discount on all purchases.
Al Brown presented a recap of the 2X4 contest thanking all who participated. He noted that it was a very close contest in regard to selecting the three winners.

– Tom reminded the club that election of officers will be held as usual in November. He encouraged anyone interested in serving as an officer to contact him.
Future Program Ideas:
Members were asked to offer ideas for future programs. The following suggestions were offered:
- CNC – Uses and applications: Neil McCullough. Greg Casagrande indicated he might be able to offer such a program.
- Finishes: Al Brown. Al asked whether Ed columbo might be willing to make a future presentation on this topic.
- Shop Tours: Floyd Yoder asked whether Larry Simmons might be willing to visit members shops for the purpose of making short videos of equipment and layouts with narrative by members. A similar suggestion was offered by Daryl DuBre.
- Woodworking Techniques: Fred Damianos. Fred asked whether some members might be willing to share “techniques” they have perfected using a video format.
- Ideas for properly storing wood finishes: Fred Damianos.
Show and Tell:

Tom Falcone – A natural edge wood bowl turned from camphor
The meeting raffle was then conducted by Tom and Randy. The winners were: Jim Bassett, John Theimer and Bud Smith
