This month Denny made a natural edge bowl from a cherry log that Floyd gave him. He split the log in half and turned it leaving the bark on the lip of the bowl.

April’s shop meet was at Reuel Detweiler’s shop. Reuel lives in a mobile home so space is limiter and by necessity everything has to be organized. Reuel makes some beautiful intarsia which fits well in his limited space. We all had a good time poking around Reuel’s shop, admiring his work, talking and eating.
I wasn’t able to attend the April’s Turner’s meet, but Russ Wilt was kind enough to send some pictures. I don’t have any comments, but a picture is worth a 1000 word anyway. Sorry I missed it, it looks real interesting.
