There were only 14 bidders at the club tool auction. The items were donated by the estate of a woodworker who recently passed away. There were many great deals. Some of the best ones were the large rolling Craftsman tool box that went for $25, 16brd ft of white oak for $10, a Craftsman 10″

The FL Westcoast Woodworkers Club is having a estate tool sale this Monday, Feb. 17, 2020, at Pat Kerr’s shop located in the Northgate Center Commerce Park, 4425 Independence Court, Sarasota, FL. Arrive around 6:30 PM to sign up and look over the vast variety of tools and the bidding will begin promptly at 7:00
Last week members of our club, Florida Westcoast Woodworkers, and the Sarasota woodturning club attended a pyrography class taught by Kimberly Glover at Marvin Stolzfus’s shop. This was a paid class, but as you can see , 13 people thought it was worth $50 to spend half a day learning a new skill. Pretty cool!
