At our March meeting we were pleased to have Johnny Newcomb of the Gulf Coast Carvers spoke to us and demonstrate carving techniques.  Johnny describes himself as a wheedler. The February meeting was our annual tool auction. Auctioneer Denny did his usual outstanding job. We then had time for Paul Anderson to present a slide show of his miniature  rooms and the model tug boat he made. The detail was incredible! Once again, members outdid themselves by bringing in some of their latest projects. Paul designed the boat’s cabin to be removable to allow access to the batteries inside.  To allow for the cabin lighting, electrical contacts had to be designed that complete the circuit when the cabin was replaced on the boat.  He says this
